Japanese Interpreter for accounting department

Job Description :

The core accounting tasks are handled by Filipino staff. The successful candidate for this position will primarily serve as a Japanese language interpreter and liaison, acting as a bridge between local staff and Japanese expatriates, as well as supporting communication with the Japanese headquarters.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Filipino staff on general accounting operations

Interpret and translate documents related to accounting tasks

Provide financial and budget reports to Japanese expatriates

Liaise with the Japan headquarters on accounting and related matters

In addition to accounting-related tasks, there may be occasional assignments involving general affairs or labor-related matters from the Japanese side.

This provides a valuable opportunity to gain well-rounded experience in overall administrative functions.

Accounting Department Structure :

A team of 6 Filipino staff members :

1 General Manager (Male)

1 Assistant Manager (Female)

4 Team Members

The background of this position is the resignation of the current Japanese accounting staff.

The member who will leave plays an important role in bridging the Japan side and the Philippine side, so the client wants a similar person who can communicate with both the local accounting staff and the Japanese HQ / Japanese expat.

They need a Japanese interpreter who can also bridge the accounting / back office staff.

Japanese interpreter experience

Basic knowledge of financial and numerical management

Comfortable using Excel, or preferably proficient in it

Work experience working in Japanese companies

Benefits : SL / VL, 13th month, Bonus, HMO, etc.

Work schedule : Monday to Friday 8 am-5 pm (1 hour lunch break + 15 mins break every 10 am and 3 pm)
