We’re looking for an exceptional Data Scientist to join our mission-driven team and shape the algorithms and methodologies at the heart of our platform. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning models to analyze cloud data, email, photo, video, and other common data types to optimize storage, reduce waste, and unlock value.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead data science strategy , aligning models and methods with business and environmental impact goals.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning algorithms to identify redundant, obsolete, or unnecessary data across corporate and personal cloud ecosystems (including emails, photos, videos, and files).
• Build scalable pipelines to process and analyze structured and unstructured data from diverse sources in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into the platform, delivering actionable insights to customers.
• Evaluate and experiment with cutting-edge approaches (including NLP, computer vision, anomaly detection) for digital waste detection across different data types.
• Manage and mentor data scientists and ML engineers , balancing hands-on model development with leadership responsibilities.
• Communicate findings and strategies clearly to executive leadership, customers, and external stakeholders, translating complex data science concepts into business value.
• Monitor and continuously improve model performance to ensure accuracy, fairness, and ethical AI practices.
