We’re looking for an In-House Psychologist (Mental Health Counselor) to join our team as a consultant. This is your chance to experience a work culture where growth, innovation, and authenticity are not just buzzwords—they’re how we do things every day.
In this role, you’ll provide confidential counseling and support services to employees, helping to foster a healthy and productive workplace. You’ll use evidence-based therapeutic methods to address mental health concerns, promote resilience, and support well-being.
This role combines individual counseling, group facilitation, education, and collaboration to create a culture where mental health is prioritized.
Key Responsibilities
Mental Health Services :
- Provide individual counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions like CBT, ACT, and MBT.
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops focusing on resilience, coping strategies, and relationship building.
- Deliver creative therapies such as mindfulness, art, or music-based activities.
- Conduct assessments for trauma or crisis intervention, ensuring adherence to escalation protocols.
Case Management & Administration :
Maintain confidential case records in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.Document session details and maintain timely communication with employees seeking support.Complete administrative tasks, including tracking session data and responding to inquiries.Education & Training :
Develop and deliver mental health awareness workshops and training for employees.Provide resources and tools to promote long-term mental health and well-being.Educate stakeholders on mental health challenges, effective coping mechanisms, and workplace strategies.Collaboration & Development :
Work closely with the clinical leadership team to identify trends and improve practices.Participate in peer support sessions, training, and professional development activities.Contribute to the development of safe working practices within the employee assistance program.Benefits
About You
Must-Have Qualifications
Licensed Psychologist with unrestricted licensure to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.Minimum 2 years of experience providing clinical services, preferably in a corporate setting.Expertise in evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.).Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.Experience with Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) is a plus.Proficiency in psychometric assessments and crisis intervention.Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion in mental health care.Must be willing to report onsite for 4 hours a day at 3 days a weekStep Into the Smartsourcing Experience 😄
