Job Summary
The CSR for a Telco Sales Account is responsible for providing exceptional customer support while actively promoting and selling telecommunications products and services. This role involves handling inquiries, resolving issues, processing account-related requests, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell telco solutions such as mobile plans, broadband, TV packages, and value-added services.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Handle inbound and / or outbound calls, chat, or email inquiries related to telco products, billing, service activation, upgrades, and technical concerns.
- Provide accurate, clear, and timely information to customers.
- Resolve issues such as service interruptions, device setup, SIM activation, roaming concerns, and general account assistance.
- Ensure excellent customer experience by maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Sales & Upselling
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate telco products and services.
- Upsell or cross-sell mobile postpaid plans, broadband packages, devices, add-ons, and promotions.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets (e.g., new activations, upgrades, add-ons).
- Process sales orders, plan changes, and contract renewals accurately.
Qualifications
