Responsibilities

• Definition and Management : Provide input in proposal generation and identify client requirements for large scale complex projects. Translate requirements into a high-level application design and coordinate these specifications with project stakeholders (e.g., Business Analysts when defining product features). Determine appropriate requirements management methods, tools, and techniques for large and complex projects.
• Solution Design and Architecture : Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing technical solutions for projects such as application architecture, database architecture, infrastructure, integration, and other system analysis and design needs. Architect end-to-end solutions with detailed designs, ensuring alignment with goals, scalability, reliability, security, and deliverability, particularly for medium-sized and complex projects. Oversee end-to-end delivery from concept to deployment, in partnership with the Project Manager. Provide technical direction, enforce strategies, standards and practices, and manage software development requirements including repositories and development servers. Contribute to the development and enforcement of best practices.
• Systems Design, Integration and Build : Design system components and implement integration strategies for connecting disparate systems and applications. Provide technical expertise for configuring components for testing and collaborate on integration plans.
• Data Modeling and Database Design : Apply standard data modeling and design techniques and implement data warehouse designs for medium-sized, complex projects.
• Documentation, Architecture Governance and Collaboration : Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, design documents, implementation guidelines). Conduct architecture reviews to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to approved solutions. Review code and designs for alignment with principles, plans, and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive consensus on technical solutions. Participate in training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts with the Project Manager.
• Technology Evaluation : Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for managing existing or new technology. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend optimal solutions. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
• Knowledge Sharing : Assist SA team with SA-related tasks and contribute to initiatives to increase skills, quality, and efficiency. Participate in process standardization and improvement on SA-related tasks.

Qualifications

Education : Graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Related Work Experience : At least 7 years of experience in Software Development, providing technical solutions such as system architecture, infrastructure design, and database structure. At least 4+ years in software engineering roles such as web and mobile application development.

Knowledge : In-depth knowledge and experience in software development (coding at some level, APIs and SDKs), programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, .NET), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), architecture design principles and best practices, API design and microservices, enterprise integration patterns, web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML), integration protocols, version control (SVN, Git), debugging and optimization, collaboration and documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, Asana, Trello), cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). Cloud platform certifications and frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman are a plus.
