Job description

The Opportunity

The Digital Workplace Engineer will be a pivotal member of the IT team, managing and maintaining Office 365 solutions including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Office 365 administration and a passion for driving efficiency through automation.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain a complex SharePoint Online environment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain solutions incorporating SharePoint, Forms, Teams, and workflow based on provided requirements.
  • Support the creation of a comprehensive collaboration environment based on SharePoint and Teams.
  • Provide 365 expertise to the support teams acting as an escalation route for incidents, as well as offering education and guidance to improve their processes;
  • Ensure a sustained level of security
  • Use PowerShell to manage Office 365 and automate tasks.
  • Work on documentation and prepare training materials.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • In-depth skills in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a Microsoft 365 environment (excluding Exchange).
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, Forms, and Power Automate; their administration, configuration, and use.
  • Proficiency in using PowerShell to manage Office 365.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Experience with data integration between systems.
  • Knowledge of broader Office 365 technologies including Azure Active Directory, OneDrive for Business, Copilot and PowerApps is desirable.
