PURCHASING AND INVENTORY ASSISTANT ( BAKING PRODUCTS) STA ROSA LAGUNA
Core responsibilities
Purchasing :
Process requisitions and raise purchase orders.
Source and compare price quotations from suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with vendors.
Manage relationships with suppliers and resolve issues like shortages or quality problems.
Inventory Management :
Track stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform regular physical inventory counts and audits.
Reconcile physical stock counts with system records.
Coordinate with the warehouse for proper storage and receiving.
Manage the issuance and return of inventory.
Reporting and Analysis :
Prepare and maintain purchasing and inventory files, reports, and price lists.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
Analyze purchase costs and prepare cost analysis reports.
