Plant Maintenance Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure the regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery to identify and address issues before they escalate.
• Plan timely repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve malfunctions.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute maintenance tasks with minimal operational disruption.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history.
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and recommend and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current on industry best practices, technologies, and innovations in plant maintenance to improve overall operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout / tagout procedures during all maintenance activities.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
