ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic ENGINEERING DIRECTOR to lead all maintenance, construction, and safety operations across our restaurant brands, commissaries, and Head Office. This role ensures all facilities are safe, efficient, and aligned with operational standards.
You will oversee multi-brand store maintenance, manage construction and renovation projects, and lead the company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineering leader with strong experience in multi‑store retail or restaurant networks, and a passion for operational excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
A. Facilities & Maintenance
Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for all stores, commissaries, and Head Office facilities.
Ensure all utilities, equipment, and infrastructure meet operational standards and compliance requirements.
Manage a facilities team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians, ensuring timely response to maintenance issues.
Oversee service contracts, vendor performance, and maintenance budgeting.
Drive efficiency through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for asset tracking and repair scheduling.
B. Project Management & Construction
Oversee store construction, renovations, and equipment installations from planning to turnover.
Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and external contractors to ensure timely and cost‑efficient delivery.
Review architectural and engineering plans to align with brand and operational requirements.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control for all construction and fit‑out activities.
C. Safety, Technical, and Administration
Lead company‑wide HSE programs, ensuring compliance with safety, fire, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Implement sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across all properties.
Maintain documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance reports.
Present monthly engineering and safety reports to top management.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of engineering management experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Strong background in multi-store operations — preferably in restaurant, retail, or pharmacy chains.
Proven success managing facility maintenance, project execution, and safety compliance.
In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and general construction practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
Excellent leadership, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
