Role Purpose
To partner with operations, underwriting, collections, and claims teams to diagnose, document, and improve end-to-end processes, and to build training modules that ensure sustainable adoption of improved workflows. The engineer will run discovery sessions with stakeholders, map current and future states, and deliver actionable recommendations and training materials—on a part-time or project basis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Discovery & Diagnosis
- Conduct workshops and interviews with business units (operations, underwriting, claims, collections).
- Document current-state workflows, systems, and compliance requirements.
2. Process Improvement & Optimization
Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and redundancies across jurisdictions.Design future-state workflows aligned with Atradius’ operational excellence goals.Recommend process automation, standardization, or digital tools as applicable.3. Training & Change Enablement
Develop training materials (guides, e-learning, job aids) for new processes.Deliver stakeholder training sessions to ensure adoption and compliance.4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with functional leaders, risk intelligence teams, and compliance officers.Ensure recommendations align with Atradius’ regulatory, operational, and client requirements.5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of process changes.Provide post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement recommendations.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
% of processes mapped and documented against agreed scope.Average cycle-time reduction or efficiency gain in pilot workflows.Stakeholder satisfaction score (through surveys / feedback sessions).Adoption rate of new workflows (measured by compliance and usage tracking).Number of training sessions delivered and % of employees certified on new processes.Tasks

Technical
Business process modeling and workflow design (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).Knowledge of trade credit insurance, claims, and collections processes.Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methodologies.Strong technical writing and training design skills (manuals, SOPs, LMS-based content).Behavioral

Basic :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent.At least 3–5 years’ experience in process improvement, operations excellence, or risk / insurance industry.Demonstrated experience facilitating process discovery and optimization projects.Preferred :
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.Experience in trade credit insurance, banking, or financial services.Exposure to multinational / regional compliance and risk management frameworks.Experience designing digital training modules in LMS platforms.
