Job descriptionOversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, and invoicing, all aspects of accounting, treasury, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with locals and international financial regulations or standards. Manage cash flow, investments, payroll and debt financing. Provide financial guidance and support to senior management on strategic decisions. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with financial goals. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. Develop and maintain a strong risk management framework. Manage relationships with investors and lenders. Prepare and present financial information to investors. Ensure transparency and accountability in financial reporting. Manage relationships with financial institutions, clients / partners, and other stakeholders. Oversee the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a leadership and management role within finance. Proven track record of successful financial management, assertive and confident in making decisions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively manage a virtual team and liaise with US stakeholders Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software and financial reporting tolls. Experienced working in a remote working environment. Demonstrated experience in underwriting processes and principles. Experience in the real estate industry. Strong understanding of financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with virtual teams and international stakeholders. ABOUT THE ROLE :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic and growing company in a fully, virtual online environment. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of success in financial management, decision-making, and leading Virtual professionals. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial operations. The Finance Controller will work closely with a team of Filipino virtual assistants and a US-based employer.
