Job Description : Store PharmacistA Store Pharmacist is responsible for managing the pharmacy operations within a retail or drugstore setting. Their main duties include dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical advice, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities : Dispensing Medications : Accurately fill prescriptions based on doctors' orders.Ensure proper dosage, drug interactions, and possible side effects.Customer Service & Counseling : Provide guidance on prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications.Educate customers on proper medication use, storage, and potential side effects.Inventory Management : Maintain stock levels of medicines and medical supplies.Monitor expiry dates and remove outdated products.Coordinate with suppliers for restocking.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to local pharmacy laws and regulations.Maintain accurate records for prescriptions, sales, and controlled substances.Health & Wellness Promotion : Recommend health and wellness products to customers.Conduct blood pressure, sugar level, and other basic health screenings if applicable.Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals : Communicate with doctors regarding prescription clarifications.Advise healthcare providers on drug availability and alternative medications.Qualifications : Licensed Pharmacist : Must hold a valid pharmacy license.
