Your role
As a Student Support Officer, you will:

• Resource & Content Optimization: Collaborate with student experience and academic teams to identify gaps and update student FAQs, course support content, and assessment materials.
• Student Experience Enhancement: Partner with internal School of Education (SOE) stakeholders to design and implement initiatives that improve student engagement and retention.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between administrative, academic, and student-facing teams to align support workflows with institutional goals.
• General Administrative Support: Provide daily operational, administrative, and record-keeping support across student services and educational operations as required.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables:

• Educational Administration Experience: Prior administrative experience within a school, university department, or tertiary education setting (preferably within an education faculty or school).
• Communication & Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with academic staff, student services, and external stakeholders.
• Content & Resource Maintenance: Ability to review, edit, and organize student-facing documentation, FAQs, and digital learning resources.
• Problem-Solving & Proactivity: High attention to detail and initiative in identifying operational gaps and recommending improvements to the student experience.

Preferred skills/expertise:

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, or Blackboard.
• Exposure to academic content administration, assessment workflows, or curriculum support within a School of Education framework.
• Practical experience using Student Management Systems (SMS) and academic ticketing platforms.
