Job Type : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Fort Myers, FL Time with a 30-minute paid break
Position Overview : The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for overseeing the financial health, strategy, and sustainability of the organization. This role provides strategic direction on all financial matters, ensuring strong fiscal management, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The CFO leads the finance, accounting, and reporting functions, while serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors. The position is responsible for developing long-term financial strategies, managing capital and cash flow, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support growth and operational excellence.
Beyond technical expertise, the CFO plays a critical role in shaping business strategy, fostering stakeholder confidence, and driving value creation. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to the executive team.
Manage the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with tax, audit, and legal requirements.
Partner with business leaders to align financial strategies with company goals and drive operational efficiency.
Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital structure planning.
Build and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements
