Responsibilities
- Evaluate merger and acquisition opportunities, including potential target companies, transaction structures, and valuations, formulate investment strategies, and conduct due diligence.
- Identify and contact potential clients for inbound and outbound M&A transactions, work closely with counterparties, investment banks, and legal teams to drive the execution of mergers and acquisitions, including negotiation, transaction structuring, drafting contracts, and proposals for M&A transactions and business investment opportunities.
- Understand industry trends and competitive landscapes, and provide data-driven insights for investment decisions.
- Collaborate closely with team members to develop and implement investment strategies and ensure the achievement of team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fieldA professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Valuation such as CPA, and CFA. Work-in-progress towards these qualifications will also be consideredMinimum of 10 - 15 years working experience in M&A, valuation, or transaction advisory services, or in analytical positions from banks or other financial institutionsPossess initiative and strong work ethics with the ability to work independently and under pressureStrong analytical skills, strategic thinking and problem solving capabilitiesExcellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to collaborate with various parties to drive successful completion of transactionsGood to have
