Summary
The Corporate Accountant is responsible for day-to-day financial management activities for the company. These activities include maintaining adequate controls and regular financial tracking and reporting.

What you’ll do
- Perform all day-to-day financial inputting, tracking, and management, including maintaining adequate controls for the designated accounts of responsibility
- Manage Accounts Receivables : audits, post AR cash receipts and reconcile sub ledger
- Manage Accounts Payable : audits, post AP and reconcile sub ledger
- Apply appropriate accounting techniques and standard practices when inputting, tracking, analyzing, reconciling and reporting on designated accounts of responsibility
- Import and reconcile bi-weekly payroll data. Ensure payroll-related accounts are accurate and up to date
- Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations. Identify discrepancies and rectify them promptly
- Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts
- Maintaining Loan amortization schedule and recognize quarterly interest income
- Perform expenses allocation by departments and regions
- Prepare monthly general ledger journal entries
- Prepare bank reconciliation and monitor daily cash activities
- Perform month-end closings including preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare quarterly and annual entity level tax basis financial statements
- Prepare and maintain fixed assets depreciation and amortization schedule
- Review Concur transactions and perform expenses audits
- Work with Sr. Accountant, Accounting Manager, Controller and Senior Vice President of Corporate Accounting, and other company management to prepare operating budget and quarterly reforecast
- Attend work as scheduled to support the ongoing success of the company
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent experience3-5+ years’ experience in financial / accounting managementPrevious experience in Real Estate, Property Management, a related field, or multiple entity environment preferredMust have extensive knowledge of computers : MS Office (Word, Excel) and other applicable accounting softwarePrevious experience with Concur expense reporting and Oracle ERP systems is a plusSolid, proactive communication skills (written and verbal)comfortable in all the tools of digital communication (email, online meetings such as Zoom, Zoom chat, collaboration tools and file shares, such as Teams, OneNote, or similar.)Requirements
Requirements : Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Finance 6+ years experience in accounting, remote work experience preferred In-depth knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Previous experience in Real Estate, Real Estate Fund Investment Accounting or related field preferred (multi-family experience a plus) Must have extensive knowledge of computers, Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other applicable accounting software Previous experience with Oracle and Yardi accounting software is a plus Previous experience in public accounting is a plus Solid, proactive communication skills (written and verbal)—comfortable in all the tools of digital communication (email, chat / IM, online meetings such as Zoom, collaboration tools and fileshares, such as Teams, OneNote, etc.) Required to work in the US Pacific Time Zone Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS Must be able to work from 12AM to 9AM
