About the role
As a full-time Project-In-Charge, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction painting / waterproofing projects. With a focus on project management, this role is crucial in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from inception to completion
- Lead project planning and scheduling to optimise workflows and meet deadlines
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and site workers
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and processes
What we're looking for
Significant experience (3+ years) as a Project-In-Charge or similar role in the construction industryWith experience in Waterproofing and PaintingStrong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex construction projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and mitigate risksProficient in using project management software and toolsThorough understanding of construction methods, regulations, and safety protocolsA relevant university degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
