About the Role
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to take full ownership of payroll operations across the Philippines, India, and Sri Lanka. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions and payroll cycles. The position manages payroll through Sprout (PH), Zoho Payroll (IN), and coordinates closely with the Sri Lanka finance / HR team for monthly SL payroll execution. Strong collaboration with HR, finance, operations, and account managers is key to ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Payroll Ownership
Philippines Payroll (Bi-monthly)
- Run full payroll every 5th and 20th via Sprout.
- Update salary changes, allowances, incentives, and adjustments.
- Compute statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and withholding taxes.
- Handle off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and final settlements.
India Payroll (Monthly)
Manage monthly payroll through Zoho Payroll.Ensure correct salary updates, statutory deductions, and compliance.Compute PF, ESI, PT, and TDS accurately.Process off-cycle runs and final settlement payments.Sri Lanka Payroll (Monthly)
Coordinate closely with SL Finance / HR to process monthly payroll.Validate salary changes, attendance, allowances, and statutory deductions.Support SL payroll compliance and documentation requirements.2.Payroll Variations, Incentives & Special Adjustments
Coordinate with Account Managers and Operations to capture incentives, overtime, reimbursements, and client-approved variations.Ensure all HPRN (Hours, Payroll, Rates & Notes) updates are complete and accurately reflected in payroll cycles.3.Off-Cycle Payments & Employee Exits
Compute and process final pays across PH, IN, and SL.Manage adjustments, back pays, retroactive corrections, and off-cycle payments.Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate exit workflows and compliance.4. Payroll Systems & Database Management
Maintain accurate payroll databases in Sprout and Zoho Payroll .Ensure master data alignment between HR, operations, and payroll.Manage payroll calendars, reminders, compliance dates, and documentation.5. Statutory Compliance & Reporting
Philippines
Compute and remit SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR withholding tax.Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports.India
Manage statutory payroll deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).Coordinate filing and compliance submissions with the India Finance Compliance Officer.Requirements
Skills & Experience Required (Must-Have)
Strong end-to-end payroll experience in the Philippines.Hands-on experience using Sprout or similar HRIS / payroll platforms.Solid understanding of PH statutory rules (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).Experience managing off-cycle payrolls and full-and-final settlements.Skills & Experience (Good to have)
Exposure to India payroll or willingness to train.Understanding of PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.Exposure to Sri Lanka payroll processes is a plus.Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.Soft Skills
High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and coordination capabilities.Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles and tight deadlines.Qualifications
