Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Cloud DevOps Architect is responsible for the assessment, design, and engineering of DevOps solutions in complex technology environments. Design and build DevOps technical solutions for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, and on-prem infrastructure with microservices or traditional application patterns. The DevOps Architect also designs and implements DevOps strategies to streamline software development and deployment processes, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. They focus on creating and optimizing CI / CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring robust system reliability and security.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and implement DevOps solutions in complex and dynamic technology environments.
• Develop DevOps architectures for cloud-native, cloud-enabled, microservices-based, or traditional application models.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in DevOps, providing guidance on tools, best practices, and methodologies.
• Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance the DevOps process and infrastructure.
• Perform the functions and responsibilities of the Cloud Administration Development Manager when the position is vacant. Design and Implementation

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Cloud DevOps Architect is accountable for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps solutions that support the organization’s software development and deployment processes. This role ensures the reliability of cloud infrastructure, the effectiveness of CI / CD pipelines, and adherence to DevOps best practices. The Cloud DevOps Architect is also responsible for mentoring the DevOps team, driving automation, and aligning infrastructure strategies with business objectives. High system availability, operational efficiency, secure configurations, and strong cross-team collaboration are key outcomes expected from this role.

Benefits

Work Setup :   Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)

Schedule :   8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (follows local time and holidays; schedule may vary based on the Department Head / Manager’s discretion)
