The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This role focuses on promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate patients’ physical and functional abilities through observation and standardized assessments.
Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patients’ needs and goals.
Provide therapeutic exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve daily living and work skills.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper care, home programs, and adaptive equipment use.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, ethics, and healthcare regulations.
