Position Purpose

The Team Leader – Accounts Payable is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Accounts Payable (AP) team, ensuring that supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role provides leadership, guidance, and support to team members while driving process improvements and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support AP team members to ensure consistent performance and professional growth.
• Allocate and monitor daily workloads to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the AP function.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with audit and financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review AP-related reports, including aging analysis, KPIs, and month-end accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and audit requests.
