About the Role
Tyconpay is expanding rapidly in the Philippines and we are looking for a strong industry leader who has hands‑on experience working with GCash, Maya Business, and GrabPay —particularly in MSME onboarding, aggregator models, merchant activation, and commercial negotiations.
This role is NOT a regulatory or compliance‑heavy position.
This role is focused on execution, partnerships, negotiations, and building merchant pipelines fast.
Key Responsibilities
- MSME & Aggregator Onboarding
Lead the end‑to‑end onboarding of MSME merchants under GCash, Maya Business, GrabPay, and other local APMs.
Build merchant funnels for retail, food, logistics, e‑commerce, freelancers, and service providers .Handle documentation, KYB coordination, activation, and pipeline management .Work closely with wallet business teams to secure favorable onboarding priority for Tyconpay merchants.E‑Wallet & PSP Partnership Management (GCash / Maya / GrabPay)Represent Tyconpay in all commercial discussions with wallet partners .
Negotiate MDR rates, settlement terms (T+0), incentive structures, and aggregator BIN setups .Secure direct merchant MID access , test accounts, and dedicated support channels for escalations.Establish fast‑track escalation paths for merchant support and risk / CB handling.Commercial NegotiationsNegotiate commercial structures such as :
MDR for MSMEsAggregator splitsT+0 / T+1 settlementsFloat arrangementsJoint promotional fundingBenchmark commercial rates across competing providers and secure the best market pricing .QRPH Deployment & Merchant EnablementExpand QRPH availability for Tyconpay merchants using partner banks.
Work with banks offering zero‑cost or low‑cost QRPH issuance (UnionBank, RCBC, Landbank, etc.).Develop QR acceptance strategy for offline merchants, kiosks, micro‑enterprises, and franchises .Coordinate QR testing, merchant onboarding, and activation pipelines.Relationship Leverage & Escalation HandlingMaintain strong, active relationships with wallet business teams (e.g., GCash Business Ops, Maya Enterprise, GrabPay Merchant Success).
In emergency scenarios (fund holds, MID freezes, disputes), activate direct manager or director‑level escalation channels .Ensure Tyconpay merchants receive priority support , rapid turnaround, and continuous processing.Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years experience in fintech, payments, or PSP / MSME merchant servicing .Prior or current work experience with GCash Business, Maya Business, GrabPay , or a major PSP is highly preferred.Strong commercial negotiation skills and understanding of pricing models for MSMEs & aggregators.Experience handling QRPH deployment, merchant onboarding, and payout / settlement operations .Strong pipeline‑building ability with MSMEs and small merchants.Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and wallet partners.What We Offer
