The Opportunity
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Enterprise QA Specialist to join our client’s project team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of enterprise insurance software implementations. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to validate that software solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for IT QA professionals with a strong insurance background to work on meaningful projects, with flexible hours and permanent remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for enterprise insurance systems.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across web and backend platforms.
- Validate workflows for insurance operations, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and billing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices throughout the SDLC.
- Assist in the creation of realistic test data and environments simulating insurance scenarios.
- Provide QA support during production deployments and post-release validation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of QA experience in software implementation projects, preferably in the insurance industry.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and processes.Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, or similar.Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for data validation.Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Why This Role is Attractive
