Overview
Chief Financial Officer (Fund Generation) is responsible for leading strategic financial initiatives to secure capital for growth and operations, overseeing financial planning, building investor confidence, managing financial risk, and ensuring accurate reporting. This role requires expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, capital raising, and investor relations to guide a company\'s financial strategy and drive success. Major focus areas include funding from REIT, funding through IPO, floatation of commercial papers, flotation of bonds, and use of other financial instruments for funds generation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to obtain funding through various sources, such as debt, equity, or venture capital.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to forecast needs, identify investment opportunities, and guide long-term financial goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and capital providers, conveying financial information clearly and fostering confidence in the company\'s performance and prospects.
- Establish frameworks and conduct analyses to manage financial risks, assess investments, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide insights for internal decision-making and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other C-suite executives to integrate financial plans with overall business strategy and achieve company objectives.
- Ensure efficient day-to-day financial operations, including managing cash flow, overseeing accounting functions, and maintaining financial systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, FinanceCPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) equivalent certification is strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial reporting.Thorough understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles and practices.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & PowerPointExperience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.Experience in Data Analytics, preferably Certified Data Analyst / Scientist with experience in using Power BISkills
