Overview
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the overall quality of operations for the entire company, covering incoming materials, in-process materials and finished goods materials that will be delivered to clients. He / she must be independent of the other process managers to ensure unbiased and credible findings that is intended to check, correct and punish non-compliance if necessary to meet the commitment of the company to total quality management. He / she supervises the Incoming and Data Bank QA Associate and the In-Process and Outgoing QA Inspector. He / she reports directly to the General Manager and President.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the production processes from pre-press to post-press doing periodic Quality Control checks.
- Implementing improvements to the production processes that lead to overall increases in production, service and product quality.
- Monitor, report and document all ongoing production processes issues and discuss with Management to find solutions.
- Ensure compliance to the Quality Management manual process and requirements.
- Assess every stage of production and recommend process improvements necessary. Investigate causes of quality problems.
- Ensure proper and complete documentation of all non-compliance as well as best practices.
Qualifications
Successful candidate must be preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering, or any related course.1 to 2 years experience in the areas of quality assurance management and planning is preferred.Must have strong initiative to review current processes and provide improvement recommendations.Good organization and time management skills. Able to multi-task without sacrificing quality and performance objectives.Advanced computer skills for data management (Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word).Good interpersonal and communication skills to handle working with production people (plant manager, team leaders, press operators, etc…)#J-18808-Ljbffr
