We are looking for a proactive and experienced HSE Officer to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across our operations. The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reducing environmental risks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions based on audit findings and safety incidents.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date HSE documentation, reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in emergency response planning and the implementation of contingency measures.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Collaborate with project teams to support safety compliance on-site.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or HSE discipline (from an accredited institution).Professional Certifications :
Minimum NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.Any additional HSE certifications are a plus.Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in the oil & gas or petrochemical EPC industry.Skills :
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.Proficient in safety-related software and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
