Legal Head for Supply Chain (Manufacturing | FMCG)

Job Summary :

This position provides crucial legal support to the Supply Chain team, ensuring strategic objectives are met while establishing and maintaining best-in-class supply chain operations. The role involves a deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks impacting a complex supply chain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain an effective integrity and governance infrastructure embedded in all supply chain operations, actively managing litigation avoidance, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across all sites.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of supply chain-related contracts, ensuring full regulatory compliance for all operational sites, including adherence to quality, safety, environmental, and food laws. This also includes providing efficient transactional support to all plants and distribution centers.
• Provide strategic legal support for special projects, including sustainability initiatives, new product launches, and greenfield plant developments. This involves developing, designing, and delivering comprehensive training on legal compliance to client groups, and continuously advising the business on current laws, regulations, and other relevant developments.
