Job Summary
The Head of Finance provides strategic financial leadership to support the growth and sustainability of the company’s retail pharmacy and convenience store chain. The FD oversees all aspects of financial planning, reporting, risk management, and funding to ensure profitability, liquidity, and long-term value creation. As a key member of the Executive Committee, the Head of Finance partners with the President & CEO and other leaders in making sound business and investment decisions that drive company expansion and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops and executes long‑term and short‑term financial strategies aligned with business goals, including store expansion, new product lines, and capital investment.
- Leads the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial projections to support decision‑making.
- Provides financial insights and scenario analysis to guide strategic initiatives such as franchising, acquisitions, and new market entries.
- Oversees all accounting, treasury, and financial operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensures robust internal controls, compliance with company policies, and effective use of accounting and ERP systems.
- Ensures compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government regulations, including tax planning and reporting.
- Coordinates with internal and external auditors to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Leads, mentors, and develops the Finance & Accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partners with department heads to align financial performance with operational goals.
Job Requirements
CPA, with a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.Minimum 8‑10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years at an executive or senior management level, preferably in retail, FMCG, or multi‑branch operations.Proven ability in financial planning, capital management, and multi‑site profitability analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.High level of integrity, strategic mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.Open to relocate / travel.Can start ASAP.#J-18808-Ljbffr
