Finance Head

About the role

As the Finance Head , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and direction. You will oversee financial accounting, reporting, cash flow, and loan management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial stewardship to support sustainable growth.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage the financial accounting and reporting function, including preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Provide strategic financial advice and analysis to the leadership team to support business decisions.

Oversee cash flow management, treasury operations, and loan obligations, ensuring liquidity and optimal capital structure.

Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, and credit facilities.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and best practices.

Develop, implement, and monitor robust financial policies, processes, and internal controls.

Manage, mentor, and inspire the finance team to foster a high-performance culture.

Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Identify opportunities to optimize financial operations and drive efficiencies.

What we're looking for

CPA or equivalent qualification with at least 8+ years post-qualification experience.

Strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis in a retail or consumer-driven industry.

Proven expertise in cash flow management, loan administration, treasury functions, and financing strategies.

Deep understanding of financial regulations, policies, and retail industry best practices.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.

Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
