Job Title : Financial Product Analyst – One Dragon Services

Role Overview :

Reporting to the VP Product Management - One Dragon Services, the Financial Product Analyst will be a detail-oriented, strategic, and analytical team member who also brings strong project management skills to help drive product development, optimization, and execution. The Financial Product Analyst will play a critical role in driving performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and managing cross-functional projects. This role requires strong analytical and project management skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will handle project management across multiple initiatives. Familiarity with multiple disciplines such as financial planning and analysis, software development lifecycles (SDLC) and project management, are important to ensure deadlines are met on key deliverables. You will also assist in streamlining processes and improving efficiency across the COO’s organization by contributing to data-driven decision-making and facilitating project execution across the organization. Prior experience working in the private equity or investment space or for medium to large financial software service providers, is advantageous.

As part of an operationally led firm, you will contribute to the overall financial health of the firm as well as our portfolio companies while assisting with key financial reporting, accounting, and project related functions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Partner with business leaders to coordinate project planning and roadmaps and dashboards that drive strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial products, pricing, performance, and customer adoption.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and capacity plans to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with finance, product, operations, and technology teams to define product requirements and enhancements.
  • Develop financial models to assess product performance, profitability, and ROI.
  • Lead and manage product-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
  • Create and maintain project plans, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support product launches by coordinating with teams across the value chain.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance product efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications Required :

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in financial product analysis, business analysis, or management. consulting, with at least 2 years in the Financial Services Industry; experience in the operational side of private equity, financial software development or investment sectors is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics or related field; (MBA or CFA / CPA a plus).
  • Strong project management experience; PMP or Agile / Scrum certification a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, financial modeling skills and the ability to distill complex data points into actionable insights, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex data in clear terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment where multiple priorities were handled simultaneously.
