The Project and Your Role

You will be joining a high-impact engagement with a client that delivers a cutting-edge, cloud-based operating platform for medical practices. This system unifies clinical, operational, and financial workflows across hospitals and clinics.

As a Senior Business Analyst , you will  play a central role in bridging clinical users and the technical team. Your work will ensure that healthcare providers have tools that are intuitive, compliant, and aligned with real-world needs.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze clinician feedback to capture pain points and translate them into structured requirements

Convert business needs into clear, actionable JIRA tickets with defined acceptance criteria

Serve as a communication bridge between medical staff and developers, ensuring mutual understanding

Track domain trends and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and medical vocabularies

Validate system behavior and provide ongoing informational support to the client

Document workflows, user stories, diagrams, and knowledge articles for internal and external use

Your Skills

Minimum 3 years working in hospital systems or healthcare technology platforms

Solid understanding of hospital lifecycles, clinical workflows, and terminology (e.g., SNOMED, HL7)

Strong SQL skills for querying, analysis, and validation

E xcellent English (written and verbal)

Ability to work in or significantly overlap with Australian business hours

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud-based EMR / EHR systems or mobile doctor applications

Familiarity with Agile practices, JIRA, Confluence

Understanding of billing systems, fee schedules, and HL7 lab result workflows
