We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the general accounting operations and financial reporting for multi-entity operations. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards and managing month-end close and audit processes, while also leading a small team toward operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Governance & Reporting :
- Oversee the month-end close process, preparation of journal entries, and accrual accounting. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting compliant with US / PH GAAP and IFRS.
Audit & Compliance :
Lead statutory audits, review site-initiated journal entries, and manage audit preparation and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Establish and maintain proper control and monitoring processes.Cash & Working Capital Management :
Monitor cash flow, manage intercompany loans, and conduct variance and foreign exchange analysis.Oversee administrative tasks related to the Petty Cash Fund and fixed asset counts.Supervise and mentor a team of 3 finance professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and compliance within the department.Work closely with the Finance Shared Services team and other internal stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure financial data integrity.Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Accounting; must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role with supervisory responsibilities.Proven track record managing full-cycle accounting, audit processes, and statutory compliance.Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with a keen eye for detail and process improvements.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Experience in large or complex multinational environments is highly preferred.
