Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing and filling GST returns
- Assist in preparing and filling IAS returns (for AU clients only)
- Liaise with Client Partners and ensure Onboarding / Change of Scope, Documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Liaise with Client Partners and prepare jobs for annual accounts
- Companies Office administration, preparation, and filing
- Billing support for Client Partners
- Respond to general queries and attend to records and filing in a timely matter including system administration, document preparation and data entry
- Undertake accounting / GST functions as directed
- Other duties as directed
Qualifications :
Tertiary qualification in accounting essentialAt least 1 – 2 years of similar experienceKnowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts essentialExperienced with Xero and MYOB is preferredIntermediate to advanced Proficiency in ExcelCommunication : the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.Attention to detail : excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.Teamwork : willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.Time management / organization : accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.Core Perks and Benefits :
