Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations using Xero accounting software for a dynamic service-based businessMaintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax requirementsHandle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance for appliance installation operationsProcess financial transactions and ensure proper categorization of service-based revenue and expensesPrepare financial reports and summaries to support business decision-makingCollaborate with management team on financial planning and business growth initiativesGradually expand into more advanced accounting responsibilities including financial analysis and strategic supportMaintain organized digital filing systems and ensure proper documentation of all financial activitiesRequirements
Proven experience working with Australian businesses with solid understanding of Australian tax regulations and accounting standardsProficiency with Xero accounting software and familiarity with cloud-based financial management systemsStrong English communication skills with ability to interact professionally with management and stakeholdersSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high accuracy standardsAvailability to work during Australian business hours to ensure effective communication and collaborationDetail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksFlexibility to adapt to growing business needs and willingness to take on expanded responsibilities over timeReliable internet connection and professional home office setup for remote work successIndependent Contractor Perks

Requirements
