Senior Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities :
As a Senior Data Analyst joining the Group Analytics function, you’ll help clients scale their data solutions and make data-driven decisions while driving enterprise-level innovation. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business processes and analytics needs, designing and building data pipelines, cloud data solutions, and visualizations.
You’ll also guide clients through best practices in reporting and analytics, applying strong data processing and pipeline design skills to help them achieve their business goals.
Working collaboratively across all business functions and subject matter experts, you’ll design and deliver robust analytics products—balancing technical skills, business acumen, and analytical insight to help clients identify core needs and define a forward-looking data strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on deriving business relevance from complex data, effectively communicating insights, and providing actionable recommendations that drive business growth.
In summary, you will :
Interrogate complex data sets for group analytics and reporting.
Define, design, and launch insightful intelligence across the organization.
Translate complex data into compelling narratives that drive strategic decisions and resonate with non-technical stakeholders.
Facilitate data-driven conversations with business leaders by framing insights in terms of impact, opportunity, and action.
Apply statistical interpretation and mathematical techniques to design analytics products that are technically sound and aligned with business workflows.
Execute continuous improvement and optimization efforts for existing processes and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications :
3–5 years of data analytics experience, supported by data engineering skills.
Proven ability to translate data into business stories using clear logic and visual storytelling to influence decisions.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience designing and developing data pipelines using SQL and programming tools such as Python or R.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Looker.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of spreadsheet formulas and automation tools (Excel or Google Sheets).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Amenable to working Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.
Good to Have :
Experience working with AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda) and / or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, DevOps).
Experience with DBT is highly preferred.
