Responsibilities

• Definition and Management : Provides input in proposal generation and identifies client requirements for large scale complex projects. Translates requirements into a high-level application design, and coordinates these specifications with project stakeholders (e.g., Business Analysts when defining product features). Determines the appropriate requirements management methods, tools, and techniques for large and complex projects.
• Solution Design and Architecture : Serves as a Subject Matter Expert in providing technical solutions for projects such as Application Architecture, Database Architecture, Infrastructure, Integration, and other system analysis and design needs, ensuring alignment with project goals, scalability, and performance requirements. Architect end-to-end solutions with detailed designs encompassing system components, interfaces, and integrations to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and deliverability, particularly for medium-sized and complex projects. Oversee end-to-end delivery of solutions from concept to deployment, in partnership with the Project Manager. Provide technical direction and guidance, enforce strategy, standards, and practices, and manage all software development requirements including repositories and development servers. Contribute to development and enforcement of best practices.
• Systems Design, Integration and Build : Design system components and implement integration strategies for connecting disparate systems and applications. Provide technical expertise for configuring system components for testing and collaborate with technical teams on integration plans.
• Data Modeling and Database Design : Apply standard data modeling and design techniques and implement data warehouse designs for medium-sized, complex projects.
• Documentation, Architecture Governance and Collaboration : Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines to ensure performance, resiliency, scalability and security, and communicate plans to stakeholders. Conduct architecture reviews to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to approved technical solutions. Review code, designs, and deliverables for alignment with architectural principles and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive consensus on technical solutions. Participate in training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts with the Project Manager.
• Technology Evaluation : Design and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans to manage and maintain technology and software. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend optimal solutions. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge Sharing : Assist SA team with SA-related tasks and contribute to initiatives to increase skills, quality, and efficiency. Participate in process standardization and / or improvement on SA-related tasks.
