Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to support our daily business operations. This entry-level position focuses on accurate data entry into our ERP system, communicating with clients via email, and assisting with scheduling logistics by coordinating remotely with trucking companies and internal staff. No on-site work is required. All communication is fully remote through email, spreadsheets, and internal software. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & ERP Management
Enter data into the company ERP system with accuracy (training provided).
Input inventory movements, such as raw material receipts, production updates, and outgoing shipments.
Review daily data for completeness and correct any discrepancies.
Remote Logistics Coordination
Monitor inbound / outbound truck schedules remotely; update carrier appointments as needed based on system status.
Respond to pickup requests from carriers and clients via email.
Verify PO status by checking spreadsheets and ERP data to confirm if orders are completed or in progress.
Email carriers professionally to adjust appointment times when orders are not yet ready.
Customer Service & Reporting
Provide clear and professional email communication to clients, carriers, and internal team members. On Logistics issues.
Compile and send simple weekly inventory or operations reports (templates provided).
Follow up with internal teams to gather updates on orders or production timing.
Assist with general administrative tasks to support the operations team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required (Entry Level)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Clear written communication skills, especially via email.
Basic computer proficiency : Outlook, Word, Excel (templates and training provided).
Ability to learn new software systems.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred (Not Required)
Experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative support.
Familiarity with ERP, order tracking, or inventory systems is a plus.
Understanding of logistics or shipping processes (training available).
Experience communicating with freight carriers or coordinating pickup times.
