We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support for our client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced legal research and capable of independently drafting a wide range of court pleadings and documents with minimal supervision. This role is critical for ensuring the legal accuracy and procedural correctness of all case filings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive legal research into secondary and primary sources, efficiently identifying relevant statutes and case law
- Analyze case law to precisely determine its current validity ("good law") and its suitability for citation in court proceedings
- Independently draft, prepare, and finalize essential court pleadings and documents, including Petitions, Answers, Counterclaims, Motions, and Notices on the attorney's behalf with little to no assistance
- Manage and organize case files and documents, ensuring all evidence and correspondence are accurately tracked and easily accessible
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witness lists
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all legal matters and client information
