Job Description
This is a remote position.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM Melbourne Time
Total Weekly Hours : 40 hours
Our client is seeking an energetic and strategic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to expand their presence across Australia. As the first point of contact for new communities, you will build relationships, generate demand, and connect opportunities that create real impact.
The SDR is the frontline of growth — owning the process of identifying, contacting, and nurturing communities and referral sources nationwide. Working closely with each Head of State, you’ll receive a prioritized list of target communities and focus your time on :
Building early-stage relationships and interest
Securing referral commitments
Recommending to leadership whether a “launch” should proceed, backed by pre-identified clinical demand (e.g., OT, SP, Physio)
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
Conduct proactive cold calls, emails, and outreach to key community stakeholders (e.g., clinics, councils, health services, schools, local organizations).
Build strong referral networks and warm relationships that convert into new community launches.
Pipeline Management
Maintain an organized CRM pipeline tracking all community leads, progress, and launch readiness.
Qualify leads based on operational feasibility, clinician demand, and strategic alignment.
Cross-State Coordination
Collaborate closely with Heads of State to prioritize high-value communities.
Develop practical understanding of each region’s operations — including identifying where nearby communities can form “milk runs” (e.g., one OT community + two SP communities in close proximity).
Market Insights & Reporting
Provide regular reports on community readiness, referral volume, and service demand trends.
Identify gaps and opportunities for service diversification or new funding streams (Aged Care, Corporate Health, etc.).
Client Retention & Relationship Building (Secondary Function)
Support the retention team by maintaining rapport with stakeholders in established communities.
Re-engage dormant or transitioning sites when needed.
Requirements
Proven success in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or Community Engagement (healthcare or service-based industry preferred).
Confident, personable communicator with strong phone and written communication skills.
Comfortable with outbound / cold outreach.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple regions and priorities.
Analytical thinker with the ability to “connect the dots” between community needs and operational delivery.
Highly motivated self-starter able to work autonomously and deliver results remotely.
Experience using CRM software (GoHighLevel preferred).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified communities progressed to launch recommendation.
Number of referral leads generated per quarter.
Conversion rate from contacted communities to active launch.
CRM data accuracy and reporting quality.
Contribution to retention (repeat business, re-engaged communities, or new funding opportunities).
Independent Contractor Perks
This role offers candidates a lucrative commission structure in addition to the monthly rate.
HMO coverage (available in eligible locations).
Permanent work-from-home setup.
Immediate hiring.
