Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
- Review and prepare financial statements and related tax compliance documents.
- Perform general accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations.
- Handle payroll processing.
- Prepare tax working papers.
- Conduct financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Participate in online training sessions (access will be provided).
Requirements :
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in accountancy or anyaccounting related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Australian accountingPublic practice experience is essentialProficiency in Xero (a must)Experience with MYOB is a plus, but not requiredSolid understanding of Australian taxation laws and accounting principlesAbility to handle a variety of accounting and tax-related tasks with high attention to detail.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have a stable internet connection for a work-from-home arrangement. The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.Schedule : Monday to Friday, AU (7 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM MNL)
