Summary of Role / Position
As a Business Project Manager, you will lead and oversee the development and execution of key projects within our company that are managed by the Technology team. This includes responsibility for managing projects end-to-end through the planning, development, execution, and implementation stages. The projects will vary in size and complexity and will typically involve multiple work streams and functional groups. This role contributes to Business projects that play an important role in moving the organization forward by providing improvements across the Technology team.
YOU WILL :
- Successfully launch, manage, and complete a variety of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, identifying critical paths and securing commitments from stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
- Monitor launch operations, triage issues, and adapt to the needs of workstreams.
- Communicate effectively through clear and concise written and verbal communication, at times acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-discipline team members and external agencies to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements.
- Provide support during project meetings by preparing and distributing an agenda, taking detailed notes, and sending comprehensive recaps with action items and assigned responsibilities.
- Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards.
- Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information, including weekly executive highlights.
- Communicate requirements and actively set & manage expectations to ensure all team members and stakeholders are accountable for their role in the project's overall success.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Foster cross-team collaboration and maintain a positive working environment.
- Refine project management processes and adopt best practices.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the team's role within the business and its alignment with the overall company objectives.
YOU MUST HAVE :
5+ years of proven experience in project management, preferably within a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form.Proficient in using industry-standard tools including Smartsheet and Microsoft Office Suite.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness; a can-do attitude with the ability to figure out solutions independently.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with stakeholders.Project management qualifications such as PMBOK, PMP, Agile, Six Sigma, a plus.Open to nightshift and hybrid setup.#J-18808-Ljbffr
