Our client is  looking for an Architectural Documentation Drafter to produce detailed technical drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate for this role should excel in creating precise architectural plans and specifications while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

This role is critical for ensuring high-quality project deliverables that meet industry standards and client expectations.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the kind of person who :

• Prepare and complete technical documentation, including plans, sections, and elevations.
• Write and review project specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams to address design changes and ensure accuracy of deliverables.
• Communicate effectively via email to provide updates and follow up on project requirements.
• Assist in preparing submission packages for council approvals when required.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure timely delivery of drafting tasks.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to refine designs and resolve technical issues

Collaborate with architects and engineers to refine designs and resolve technical issues Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who : Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a similar field is preferred. 3+ years of experience in architectural drafting or related field. Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed architectural models and drawings. Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction. Experience with specification writing and technical documentation. Familiarity with council submission processes is an advantage. Knowledge of New Zealand architectural standards is a plus; Australian standards training provided. Experience with MasterSpec is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing project deliverables.
