TASQ is currently looking Lead and Senior Consultants for Power BI and Analytics.
The work shift runs from 5pm to 1am and is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities :
- Engage with clients to identify reporting needs through discovery meetings
- Advise clients on Power BI licensing options, explaining the benefits and limitations of each
- Develop efficient star schema data models, including calculated columns and measures
- Build Power BI solutions by importing data from diverse sources, creating reports, dashboards, and data elements using DAX and source queries
- Support clients in deploying Power BI solutions to the Power BI service, including setting up gateways, DirectQuery, data flows, and data refreshes
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related fields, or equivalent professional experienceOver 5 years of experience with data and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft tools (SSRS, Power BI, PowerPivot, PerformancePoint) or other BI platforms (Business Objects, MicroStrategy, Qlik, SAP)Proficiency in TSQL, data modeling, and reporting with Power BI or similar toolsProven experience designing comprehensive Power BI reports with interactive features, drilldowns, and nested parametersExpertise in creating dynamic measures with advanced DAXKnowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query / MHands-on experience with Databricks for developing and streamlining data workflowsAbility to select appropriate visualizations and design interactive report interfacesSkilled in gathering requirements and conducting focus groups to improve business processesProfessional Skills :

Effective use of Power BI relies on high-quality data. We are seeking experienced lead consultants with expertise in Power BI and data management. Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of Power BI and its data components, including PowerQuery / M, DAX, and dimensional modeling, along with basic report design skills. Familiarity with SQL Server (including data warehouse architecture, SSIS, SSRS) and DirectQuery is advantageous. Additionally, understanding Power BI licensing options and advising clients on optimal licensing solutions is essential.
