This is a remote position.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 10 : 00 AM–6 : 00 PM UK time (includes a 30-minute paid break)
Total Weekly Hours : 40 hours
This fast-growing fintech company helps businesses improve their operations by offering essential services such as payment solutions, business funding, point-of-sale systems, energy brokering, EV charging stations, and telecom / WiFi services. They support clients in industries like hospitality, retail, and professional services.
As an Appointment Setter , you’ll help drive sales by finding and qualifying potential business customers. You’ll research companies—mainly in retail and hospitality—using tools like Google Maps, then call them using provided scripts and contact lists.
The role includes cold calling, plus some light account management or cross-selling to existing clients. You’ll play an important part in booking meetings for the sales team and supporting the growth of an innovative fintech company.
Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound calling campaigns to businesses, primarily in retail and hospitality
Research and identify potential leads using Google Maps and other online resources
Qualify prospects based on defined criteria and business needs
Use the provided script to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition
Build rapport and pitch the benefits of meeting with a sales representative
Schedule confirmed appointments in the company’s CRM system
Log detailed call notes and document next steps for follow-up
Support light account management and cross-selling initiatives
Meet and exceed daily / weekly activity and performance targets
Requirements
Proven experience in B2B appointment setting, lead generation, or inside sales
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to handle objections confidently and professionally
Comfortable with high call volumes and a fast-paced work environment
Competent in using research tools (e.g., Google Maps) and CRM systems
Organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated
