Tax Manager — Universal Robina Corporation

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Tax Manager primarily to ensure that the Company's tax strategy complies with local and national tax laws and to manage related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax strategies to ensure tax compliance, mitigate tax risks and exposures
• Provide advice or resolve tax inquiries, issues, assessments and risks
• Set tax accounting standards and improvements within the department or organization
• Identify and pursue opportunities for tax refunds and exemptions
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns
• Review tax GL accounts
• Review tax data required across different master data objects
• Recommend tax settlements of tax audits or disputes from external and internal perspectives
• Interpret new tax rulings and assess impact to the organization
• Provide advice on application of existing tax rulings to new situations
