Our respected client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead the company's tax operations, ensuring compliance with BIR and LGU regulations, managing audits, and developing effective tax strategies. This position located in BGC, Taguig, Philippines .

Job Summary

The Tax Manager is responsible for all tax-related activities of the company in the Philippines. This includes ensuring compliance with BIR and LGU requirements, preparing accurate reports under PFRS, managing audits, developing tax strategies, and leading the tax team. The role also involves cross-functional coordination and representation with government agencies and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file BIR and LGU tax returns (VAT, EWT, ITR, FBT, business permits, property tax).
• Ensure compliance with tax incentives and manage monthly / annual reconciliations.
• Monitor tax law updates (e.g., CREATE Law) and provide tax planning / advisory on business activities.
• Handle BIR audits and assessments, ensuring proper documentation and responses.
• Develop and implement tax policies, controls, and risk management measures.
• Supervise, train, and review the work of tax staff; collaborate with finance, legal, procurement, and operations.
• Represent the company in dealings with BIR, LGUs, SEC, PEZA, BOI, and external auditors.
