The bank is currently enhancing its risk capabilities to support growth and innovation in a dynamic financial landscape.

Job Description

As the Chief Risk Officer, you will :

  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks and policies for the organisation.
  • Monitor and assess potential risks across all business units within the financial services industry.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the board and senior leadership on risk-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, particularly in Makati and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure compliance with BSP regulations and global risk standards (e.g., Basel III).
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to maintain transparency and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks effectively.

    • The Successful Applicant

    A successful Chief Risk Officer should have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in risk management, with deep expertise in market, liquidity, and credit risk.
  • Proven expertise in risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Makati.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills to guide the Risk & Compliance department.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify and address potential risks efficiently.
