Main Responsibilities
Labor and Employment Law
Provide legal advice on all labor‑related matters, including recruitment, drafting of employment contracts, compensation and benefits, disciplinary actions, terminations, and dispute resolution. Support the Human Resources department and management in ensuring full compliance with Philippine labor laws and the guidelines of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Contracts and Commercial Agreements
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to ensure alignment with company policies, acceptable risk levels, and applicable laws. Coordinate with the global legal team to standardize templates and review cross‑border agreements.
Corporate Governance and Secretarial Duties
Support corporate and secretarial compliance, including the preparation of minutes, resolutions, and the maintenance of corporate records. Ensure timely compliance with formal obligations before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
Regulatory and Compliance Matters
Provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance, data protection, and internal company policies. Collaborate on the implementation of the company’s compliance programs, including training initiatives, regulatory follow‑up, and reporting activities.
General Legal Support
Assist management and other departments in identifying and mitigating legal risks arising from business operations. Address any other legal matters that may occur in the ordinary course of business in the Philippines.
