Job Description :
1.Conduct market research to identify and assess the viability of new markets for hog carcasses, cut pork, and meat products, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
2.Develop and implement a structured sales system to actively market and sell carcasses and cut pork to wholesalers, retailers, meat processors, and institutional buyers, rather than relying on farm gate pricing.
3.Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers in the meat industry, including distributors, supermarkets, meat shops, and food service providers.
4.Negotiate and close high-value sales contracts for carcasses and cut pork, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing revenue.
5.Oversee the entire sales process, including order management, logistics coordination, and timely delivery of products, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
6.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to continuously adjust sales approaches and maximize profitability.
7.Prepare detailed sales reports and presentations to analyze market performance, identify sales growth opportunities, and recommend strategic actions.
8.Collaborate closely with internal teams, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure the effective execution of the forward integration sales strategy.
9.Implement promotional and marketing initiatives to strengthen brand positioning and expand market reach for carcasses and cut pork.
10.Identify and develop new distribution channels and potential partnerships to increase sales volume and improve margins.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the agricultural or food industry.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
Excellent understanding of market research principles and analytical skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
Experience in the hog industry
Knowledge of meat processing and carcass grading
