Total Weekly Hours : 20–30 hours
Our client is looking for a marketing and digital content professional, ideally with travel industry experience. The candidate should be skilled in Canva, Google Workspace, CRM and email platforms, and editing tools, with strong copywriting and visual storytelling abilities. Familiarity with social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube), SEO, analytics, and scheduling tools like Buffer or Later is essential. Experience with WordPress is a plus. Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Social Media Management
Develop and manage content for Instagram (including Reels), Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Write compelling captions and implement effective hashtag strategies.
Produce and edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts).
Maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns, holidays, launches, and events.
Monitor industry trends and advertising opportunities.
Design visual content using Canva or similar tools.
Collaborate with partner marketing teams to align messaging and assets.
2. Strategic Marketing Planning
Lead the creation and execution of Jones & Co's internal marketing plan (annual, quarterly, and roadshow strategies).
Implement strategies to grow the brand's visibility within the travel trade.
3. Website & Digital Presence
Update and manage website content to reflect current campaigns and messaging.
Optimize digital materials and partner features.
4. Event Marketing & Support
Coordinate with agents and partners for in-person and virtual events.
Assist in preparing event materials (flyers, invites, signage, presentations).
Support marketing for roadshows, webinars, and trade activations.
5. Partner Marketing Coordination
Lead regular marketing check-ins with DMCs, hotels, and tourism boards.
Coordinate the development of co-branded materials and collaborative campaigns.
Draft and distribute partner newsletters with updates and success stories.
6. Proposal & Document Development
Create and maintain sales kits, company profiles, pitch decks, and destination flyers.
7. Case Studies, Reporting & Newsletters
Assist in developing case studies from internal research and leadership notes.
Draft and schedule Jones & Co and partner newsletters tailored to trade.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in marketing, digital content creation, or communications.
Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
Proficient in Canva, Google Workspace, CRM systems, email platforms, and editing tools.
Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and editing skills.
Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube (including short-form video).
Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Insights).
Comfortable using scheduling platforms (Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite).
Knowledge of Website CMS (WordPress) is a bonus.
Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
